Today Georgian Prime Minister held a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Brussels.
The parties discussed the Eastern Partnership Summit, along with bilateral relations and the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Georgia and Ukraine.
At the beginning of the meeting, the leaders emphasized the friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries.

"I am delighted to meet with my partner and dear friend. I am happy to see that our political, economic, and cultural relations are developing very actively. I deeply appreciate our personal relations, including the recent SMS about winning a football game. I am convinced that our relations have immense potential for growth," the President of Ukraine said.
The Prime Minister of Georgia spoke of the potential for further developing bilateral relations.

"We welcome the growing bilateral relations. For us, our presence here is very important. We have similar ambitions, European and Euro-Atlantic goals, which define not only the external but also the internal agendas of our countries. We are here to discuss our future relations, and the potential of our bilateral relations is much deeper and much wider," Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated.
The parties also discussed regional challenges and the situation in the occupied territories, and expressed mutual support of the two countries' territorial integrity and sovereignty.
