Today Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili held a meeting with his French counterpart Prime Minister Édouard Philippe.
Bilateral cooperation, Georgia's progress toward European and Euro-Atlantic integration, and the further advancement of the Eastern Partnership format were the key issues discussed during the meeting.
Special attention was paid to Georgia's implemented and ongoing reforms, and the positive dynamics of developing France-Georgia cooperation in a number of areas were emphasized. The parties also discussed The Open Government Partnership, with Georgia accepting its chairmanship from France. Giorgi Kvirikashvili discussed Georgia's chairmanship priorities with his French colleague.
Prime Minister Édouard Philippe emphasized France's unwavering support of Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
