Today, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili held a meeting with Prime Minister Theresa May of the United Kingdom. During the meeting, the parties underscored the high-level political cooperation and active economic relations between Georgia and the United Kingdom. Potential for greater economic cooperation was also underscored. The parties commended the recent Wardrop Strategic Dialogue in London discussing ways to enhance political, economic, people-to-people, and other ties. Prime Minister Kvirikashvili emphasized the importance of cooperation with the UK in the process of Georgia's NATO integration, also discussing in detail the country's implemented and ongoing reforms. The Head of Georgian Government thanked the UK Prime Minister for supporting Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty. Theresa May, in her comment on the November 22 special operation, extended her sympathies to the Prime Minister of Georgia over the death of the Georgian special operations force member during said operation.
