54th Munich Security Conference Starts Print Version

Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili leads the Georgian delegation at the 54th Security Conference which started today in Munich.

To discuss key challenges facing global security, the Munich Security Conference brings together more than 30 heads of state or government and more than 100 ministers from different countries.

The inaugural session of the conference was addressed by Chairman of the Munich Security Conference Wolfgang Ischinger, German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen, Minister of the French Armed Services Florence Parly, and other leaders.

For the first time under the Munich Security Conference, a special event dedicated to Georgia will be co-organized by the conference, during which the Prime Minister of Georgia is scheduled to deliver a speech.

As part of the 54th Munich Security Conference, Giorgi Kvirikashvili will hold high-level meetings with political leaders and business representatives.
