Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili will participate in the next high-level meeting of the Georgia-Turkey Strategic Cooperation Council to be held in Turkey in the first half of 2018. This issue was agreed at today's meeting between the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Turkey, which was held under the 54th Security Conference in Munich.

The parties discussed the excellent dynamics in bilateral cooperation, especially in the directions of economy, emphasizing the need to take further steps in this direction.

Special attention was paid to participation in regionally important transport and energy projects, with emphasis on the significance of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railroad.

The Prime Ministers also discussed regional security issues. The Turkish side reaffirmed its support of Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration.
