"We as Georgians take great pride indeed in our soldiers, who position Georgia as a noble partner for the loyal service and sacrifice, contribution made in strengthening the international security and this particular international training is tilted accordingly" stated Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia in his address to the participants of the Noble Partner, which is held in the country for the fourth time and has a wider scope and magnitude this time around.

Joint Military Exercise, which was launched in Vaziani today, included 3004 military servicemen of the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance Organization (NATO) member states, partner countries and friendly nations.

In the opinion of the Head of the Government of Georgia, Noble Partner serves to the strengthened security, stability and peace in our region.

"It has been said at multiple occasions and I reiterate it again from this tribune that international trainings are not targeted at any country in the world. They only serve to the strengthening of the regional security, peace and stability. I am convinced that this interest is shared by all nations. I wish to state that number of countries participating in the trainings is indeed impressive. It has reached 13 already and includes Georgia, USA, UK, Germany, Estonia, France, Lietuva, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Poland, Norway, Turkey and Ukraine. Trainings are beneficial for the military forces of every participating country, improved defense capacity and increased military preparedness. What is most important, we are building relations with the military of various countries and ground is made for the political military cooperation aimed at the equitable, mutual empowerment. As for the Georgian military forces, this training will lead to greater professionalism, more endurance, increased military preparedness and greater compatibility with strategic and international partners, while Georgia will achieve more peace, greater security, more stability and international engagement" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.

According to the Head of the Government of Georgia, country highly values the support demonstrated by every partner country and remains enormously grateful to USA, other member states of NATO and friendly nations for the vivid support, which has been witnessed in recent years and overall since regaining its independence.

"You may well be aware that historically Georgia was never pampered by having friendly troops on its land and now we are witnessing a substantially new historic reality. It can be said boldly that Georgia and region at large is more secure now. Friends, today you are hosted by the country with a considerable part of its land being occupied, however our response to the occupation and hardest challenge is not only peaceful and stable development of the country prioritizing predominantly the democratic values. I wish to once again thank all our partners, each of you for the most significant support, which has been demonstrated towards Georgia and our nation. I am confident that international training, titled as a Noble Partner 2018, similar to all the previous ones, will be fruitful and have a positive impact on the military forces of the participating countries, which will use the gained knowledge and skills for the benefit of the improved global peace. God bless Georgia and all its friendly countries! I wish great success to you all!" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia while addressing the participants of the international military training.
