Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated the highlanders with Tusheti Day.
"We are celebrating Tusheti Day today and I wish to congratulate the locals, Tusheti residents, Tushetian shepherds. This beautiful celebration is related to shepherds. It has turned into a tradition over the last dozen of years. Tusheti is a truly unique part of the country and it has preserved the untouched history and culture of Georgia - our wealth and treasure. Lifestyle of Tushetians is the best example of love and dedication towards the homeland, honor and hospitality. I once again congratulate them and this most beautiful part of the country with Tusheti Day" stated the Prime Minister of Georgia in his wellwishing.
