Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia hosted Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Lietuva, Latvia and Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine at an official dinner, who have arrived in Tbilisi to mark 10 years since the Russian-Georgian war back in 2008.

Head of the Government of Georgia expressed his gratitude to the dignitaries and noted that visit of the high ranking officials is yet another evidence of international support to Georgia.

Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Lietuva, Latvia and Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine will visit the occupation line of Georgia to pay the tribute to the memory of civilians and servicemen fallen in the fight for the territorial integrity of the country. They will also hold series of high level meetings.

Dignitaries will also participate in the round table meeting on Peace and Security 10 Years After Russian-Georgian War, within the scope of which the current challenges towards security and peace in Europe will be discussed. Focus will be made on the peaceful resolution of the conflicts currently faced in the region, security and human rights issues in the occupied regions of the country, policy of the Government of Georgia aimed at a peaceful resolution of the conflict and international efforts towards this end.
