Official visit of Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia has commenced. Official Ceremony of Greeting has been held at the Government Administration of Georgia. Visiting leader has been greeted by Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia. Anthems of both countries have been performed. Head of the Government of Georgia and Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany introduced their delegations to each other.
Meeting between the Prime Minister of Georgia and Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany will be held today. It is planned to hold negotiations of extended format, followed with joint media statements by both leaders.
