Today, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Georgia Kai Kaarelson. While discussing Georgia-Estonia bilateral relations, the parties emphasized the positive dynamic in the close cooperation between the two nations and sharing Estonian experience in the implementation of Georgia's ongoing reforms. In particular, the conversation involved the educational and tax reforms, the latter being successfully carried out in Georgia based on the Estonian model. In addition, the parties discussed the necessity to resume direct flights between Tbilisi and Tallinn.

As it was underlined during the meeting, Estonia is a leader in introducing cyber security, and the Estonian experience is extremely important to Georgia. The Prime Minister of Georgia and the Estonian Ambassador also discussed the Estonian President's upcoming visit to Georgia in a matter of days.
