Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze's visit to the Republic of Armenia has started. The Head of Government was greeted at the Zvartnots International Airport by Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan of the Republic of Armenia.
A welcoming ceremony honoring the Prime Minister of Georgia was held at the Government House. Mamuka Bakhtadze was hosted by his Armenian counterpart, Nikol Pashinyan. The anthems of the two countries were performed, and the Heads of Government introduced each other to their respective delegations.
Today, the Prime Ministers are scheduled to have a face-to-face meeting, followed by a larger format meeting with the participation of the two countries' respective Cabinet members. During his official visit, the Prime Minister of Georgia will hold meetings with Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and Speaker of the Parliament Ara Babloyan.
