"Georgian nation made a historic choice 6 years ago in favor of liberty and rejected the regime, which was based on the abuse of human dignity" stated Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia at the briefing held prior to the Executive Government Meeting today.
As noted by the Head of the Government of Georgia, 1st October 2012 served as a decisive moment on the quest for democratic development of Georgia.
"On that very day Georgian Dream achieved a huge success together with the Georgian nation. Peaceful transfer of power occurred and entirely new stage started on the quest of statehood and democratic development of Georgia" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.
In the opinion of the Head of the Government of Georgia, today the country is far stronger than it was six years ago. It has achieved progress in every area and this advancement is tangible.
"Nevertheless, plenty of difficulties and challenges remain, which I am sure will be overcome together with Georgian people. Our goal is to turn the country into a strong economy and developed European state. We will also achieve our international aspirations to make Georgia part of the European family and fully-fledged member of the NNATO" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
