"Georgia ranks 7th among 162 countries in the Index of Economic Freedom" stated Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia at the briefing held prior to the Executive Government Meeting today.

As noted by the Head of the Government of Georgia, high ranking in the rating of the Frazer Institute results from the reforms currently implemented in the country.

"You may well be aware that Frazer Institute releases its Annual Reports summarizing ratings on Economic Freedom of the World". This year Georgia ranks 7th among 162 countries. It has advanced from the 9th ranking as a result of the reforms that we are implementing in the country" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.

As noted by the Head of the Government of Georgia, it is utterly important to position the country so vividly, as this rating indicates that Georgia is not only stable in maintaining its position among the most free economies of the world, but also improves its performance year by year.
