To minimize the impact of anti-Western propaganda, and to enhance the population’s awareness about the country’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, also to establish an effective, well coordinated, and proactive system of communications in the country, on the Government’s decision, strategic communications structural units will be created in all ministries.
According to the Prime Minister, the US State Department has provided Georgia with invaluable assistance to counter anti-Western propaganda, and the establishment of a system of strategic communications will be part of the large-scale program created to this end and enjoying strong support from European colleagues.
“We are creating strategic communications structural units to foster the establishment of an effective, well coordinated, and proactive strategic communications system in the country. Today, such structures already operate in several ministries. Accordingly, measures to support them will be considered,” the Prime Minister stated.
