PRIME MINISTER VISITS IASHVILI CLINIC TO COMFORT CHILDREN AFFECTED BY THE EXPLOSION IN TBILISI Print Version

Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia visited Iashvili Clinic to comfort the children affected by the gas explosion in a residential block of Didi Dighomi today.

Head of Government expressed condolences to the families of victims and noted that six children are treated at Iashvili Clinic, whose health condition is satisfactory.

"Huge tragedy has occurred today. Four lives have been lost as a result, including one child. I want to express my condolences to all. We are providing medical treatment to six affected children. Their health condition is satisfactory. They will stay at the hospital under the surveillance of doctors and decision on their release will be taken tomorrow morning" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Prior to the hospital, Head of Government of Georgia visited the site of tragedy on Avtandil Street, where natural gas leaked within a residential block.
