"Agreement concluded on travel solely with Personal ID Cards between Georgia and Ukraine once again stresses the importance of friendly and strategic relations between the two countries" stated Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia at a press briefing held prior to the Executive Government Meeting today.

As noted by the Head of Government of Georgia, work towards this end was performed with Ukrainian colleagues for several months and travel solely with Personal ID Cards will be enforced for the citizens of the two countries from March 1, 2019.

"I am confident that simplified travel with a mere use of Personal ID Cards will strengthen linkages between our nations, deepen business contacts and boost tourism to both directions" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
