The US is our strategic partner, and Georgia-US relations are at an all-time high, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated in his comment on his meeting with acting US Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan in Munich.
According to the Head of Government, the meeting with the Defense Secretary proved to be very insightful and result-oriented.
"The US is our strategic partner, and Georgia-US relations have reached an all-time high, and that is not my opinion only-all experts agree on this assessment. Given the way our bilateral relations are deepening, we focus on long-term programs, and that is exactly what the five-year plan is about, as it will contain very important emphases serving the national interests of both countries," Mamuka Bakhtadze said.
