STATE FINANCING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF EMERGENCY RESCUE CENTERS AND OUT-PATIENT HEALTHCARE FACILITIES IN REGIONS OF GEORGIA Print Version

"We will endorse a special program, within which the state financing will be allocated for the construction of emergency rescue centers and out-patient healthcare facilities in the regions of Georgia, along with the rehabilitation of the existing ones" stated Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia at a regular press-briefing held prior to the Executive Government Meeting today.

As noted by the Head of Government of Georgia, 20 MLN GEL has been allocated for the program and covers every municipality throughout the country. Rehabilitation of almost 300 and rehabilitation of over 100 out-patient healthcare facilities and about 40 emergency rescue centers will be launched this year.

"We are planning and implementing special programs for the regions of the country with an aim of equitable development and delivery of essential services in regions of the country. Indispensable service rendering for decent health and living conditions of our citizens is a priority of our Government, which will never be diverted" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
