"Today we are launching a facility with a value of over 40 MLN GEL invested so far. It is a vivid evidence of an investor confidence towards the economic growth and policies pursued by the authorities" noted Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia in his speech delivered at the launch of the Jerarsi Clinic today.

As stated by the Head of Government of Georgia, it is the second multi-profile clinic of highest standards launched within the past two weeks, which serves as yet another confirmation of the fact that authorities are implementing the right and result-oriented policy in the healthcare sector.

"Individuals and care for their health have always been and will remain to be the key priority of our political team in power. It was the introduction of a Universal Healthcare System that led to the attraction of investments to the sector. I am delighted that private sector is developing similar clinics in Tbilisi and regions of Georgia. At the same time, it is yet another confirmation that we have a potential to get shaped into a regional hub of healthcare service delivery. Care for individuals is a key priority for us and we aim to ensure the delivery of healthcare services of the highest standard. Our priority in future will be to offer more healthcare services to visiting foreign individuals in Georgia. We need to create a potential for the creation of a new half a billion-worth sector for the export of healthcare services" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Jerarsi Clinic has been staffed with experienced Georgian professionals and experts invited from Israel. Facility is constructed on 12000 sq. meters and it is planned to comply with every international safety and environmental standard. There are 10 surgery theatres, 2 catheter labs and 208 patient beds at the Clinic.
