Today, the Prime Minister visited the newly built school in the village of Shua Surebi, Chokhatauri Municipality, where he met with the schoolchildren and teachers.
Mamuka Bakhtadze discussed the educational reform, and pointed out that similar modern-standard schools will be built throughout Georgia.

The Head of Government attended a presentation prepared by the schoolchildren about their village's history, and thanked them and their teachers and parents. The Government prioritizes maximally promoting such talented youth and creating opportunities for them to put their talents to use.

"The educational reform and investments in this field is one of our Government's key priorities. Several new schools will be built in Guria, and there are resources available to double the construction of schools and kindergartens. I take keen interest in the internet connection project. There are areas in Guria where internet connection is an issue. Naturally, alongside developing schools and kindergartens, there is a desire to this project up to speed, too," Mamuka Bakhtadze said.

The new school in the village of Shua Surebi in the Chokhatauri Municipality was built under the Small Public School Development Project. Built in December of 2018, the school meets modern standards for schools of secondary education.
Modern, energy efficient, and safe building materials were used to build the school. The project incorporates a recreation area with spaces for various activities, also a library, and a faculty lounge. This public school with modern equipment and material assets is adapted for children with special educational needs.
