Bilateral investment projects, trade relations and cooperation in tourism have been discussed by Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia and Faisal Al-Fayez, President of the Senate from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at a meeting held today at the Government Administration of Georgia.

Focus was made on the successful reforms currently implemented in Georgia. Prime Minister noted that as the best reformer country acclaimed by reputable international institutions, Georgia stands ready to share its experience with Jordan towards this end.

Discussions were also related to current challenges, situation witnessed at the occupied territories of Georgia and peaceful initiatives of the Government of Georgia.

Head of Government of Georgia recalled his visit to Jordan in his previous capacity as a Minister of Finance of Georgia, within the scope of which significant meetings and agreements were concluded. President of the Senate stressed the significance of further intensified cooperation with Georgia in various directions. By the close of the meeting, Prime Minister of Georgia cordially invited the Royal King of Hashemite Jordan to Georgia and noted that the visit of His Majesty will serve as a basis of a completely new phase of bilateral relations.
