As we see that the resumption of flights will help both tourism and thousands of Georgians who have been facing certain mobility-related problems, we certainly welcome it, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia stated today.

As for risks, according to the Head of Government, the country's economy must be healthier and risk management better in quality.
"I welcome positive changes for the better, like resumption of flights, for instance. We must manage risks in every area. Today, as we see that the resumption of flights will help both tourism and thousands of Georgians who have been facing certain mobility-related problems, we certainly welcome it. Our economy must be healthier, and our risk management quality must be enhanced. We must try to manage these risks to ensure against such excesses. And even if they occur, we must be ready to manage them," Giorgi Gakharia stated.
As for the recent meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Russia, the Head of Government emphasized that Georgia must do everything to solve the most complex and pressing problems between the two countries.

"That meeting was in sync with our international friends. Georgia must do everything to solve the most complex and pressing problems between the two countries. We must understand that when I say that we will take all necessary steps in this direction, absolutely pragmatic, down-to-earth steps, and in sync with our international partners, we must also remember that nobody will do our job for us, and we must be able to have our say, and we must achieve progress where progress is possible-defusing tension, for one, and we should be able to do it. I reiterate that it must be done in line with our national interests, in synch with our international partners, and yet with the full understanding of the fact that, however hard the task, no one will do it for us," Giorgi Gakharia said.
