We will be absolutely open and will do everything to make sure that Georgian businesses are strong, so that they may create more jobs, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia told the press after today's meeting with economic experts.
In response to journalists' question whether or not the 5% growth stipulated in the budget is the Government's ambitious goal, the Prime Minister stated that it is quite an ambitious goal, though the Government will reach out to every company, and it will do everything further to energize the country's economy.
"I agree that the 5% growth, as found in the budget, is quite an ambitious goal, especially given the ongoing developments in the regions. However, we as the Government will reach out to every company facing concrete problems. You may consider it an open public pledge. We will reach out to every company facing particular bureaucratic or subjective problems. We will reach out and do everything to ensure greater energy in our economy. Of course, we will do the same in terms of legislative regulations," Giorgi Gakharia said.
