We must work and bend our efforts to make sure that this country is not a country of challenges and overthrows, but one of opportunities for youth, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia told the press in response to a question about Vano Merabishvili's recent statement.

According to the Head of Government, the goal of the authorities is the future and a strong Georgia, a country of opportunities, not of coups.

"It has been reaffirmed that the National Movement is yesterday's news. But we must look to the future. We must work and bend our efforts to make sure that this country is not a country of challenges and overthrows, but one of opportunities for youth. Today, right after his release, he said, ‘I will overthrow,' word for word. He did not say ‘put an end to' or ‘change'-he said ‘overthrow.' Let's all agree that we are looking to the future. They have tried repeatedly to overthrow but failed each time, and this time will be no exception. Our goal is the future, a strong Georgia, a country of opportunities, not of coups, overthrows, and calamities, something we have put behind us," Giorgi Gakharia said.
