All necessary mechanisms will be put in action in Georgia to ensure effective fight against the virus, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia told the press in response to a question about a possible suspension of flights from Iran in order to stave off the spread of coronavirus.

According to the Head of Government, continuous discussions are in full swing on effective ways to fight against the virus and, if need be, all necessary mechanisms will be put in action.
"We will do whatever it takes, be it the suspension of flights or anything else. Continuous work is underway to enable the Health Ministry to exercise effective control," the Prime Minister said.
