The Head of the Department for Regional Interaction at the Government Administration of Georgia got vaccinated against COVID with Sinopharm today. Larry Barnabishvili took the first dose of the vaccine at the Central University Clinic Named After Nicholas Kipshidze in Tbilisi.
The Head of the Department for Regional Interaction at the Government Administration of Georgia highlighted the significance of vaccination in the process of curbing the pandemic in the country.
"I got vaccinated with a China-manufactured Sinopharm, which is readily available nation-wide and fits my age, due to the restrictions related to different age groups. At present, vaccination is key in Georgia for each citizen of the country to safeguard the health of oneself and loved ones, especially the vulnerable groups of the society, who may find the novel coronavirus very risky for their life and health. Also, vaccination is vital for returning the country back to normal life. Currently, vaccination is the only way forward along with regulations imposed for the fight against COVID. I hope that our citizens will follow and get immunized with vaccines readily available nation-wide and recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) to gradually get back to the normal life and activities that they were used to" stated Larry Barnabishvili.
