    Prime Minister’s Visit to Brussels

    On December 1-2, 2008, Prime Minister of Georgia Grigol Mgaloblishvili was on a visit in Brussels. While on a visit in Brussels, Grigol Mgaloblishvili met with Mr. Javier Solana, the General Secretary of the European Council and the top representative of foreign and security policy. At the meeting, the parties discussed the opportunities for Georgia's integration with the European Union and for strengthening the role of the European Union in a peaceful settlement of Georgia's domestic conflicts.

    Prime Minister Visits Shiomgvime Monastery and Meets with Aggrieved Population in Teliani Village

    On 23 November 2008, Prime Minister of Georgia Grigol Mgaloblishvili attended St George's Day celebrations in Shiomgvime Monastery. He toured the rehabilitated monument, stating that the government will continue making sizable budgetary allocations to make sure the cultural heritage is well taken care of.

    Prime Minister of Georgia Visits Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region

    On 10 November Prime Minister of Georgia was on a visit in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region. Grigol Mgaloblishvili opened renovated public schools in Misaktsieli and Mukhrani Villages. In Mtskheta Public School N2 he met with the teachers of the region. The Prime Minister obtained from the teachers firsthand information on the current problems in the education system.
