On November 27, the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli visited the Imereti Region.
The Prime Minister attended the events devoted to the 50th anniversary of putting into operation of Dzevruli HPP located in Imereti Region.
Zurab Nogaideli also inspected Shaori HPP, the course of rehabilitation operations. Shaori HPP and Dzevruli HPP generate 50 MW per year. "I would like to tell you that both HPPs operate in good order, Accordingly, all our promises are valid and the Georgian energy sector will meet the winter period in full readiness. I would like to thank all energy specialists for these results, - stated the prime Minister.
Together with Zurab Noghaideli in Imereti Region were energy minister Nika Gilauri and manager of the United Distribution Company Dean White.
