Zurab Noghaideli Introduces a Newly Appointed Economic Development Minister

On November 20, 2006 the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli introduced to the staff of the economic development ministry the newly appointed minister Giorgi Arveladze. The Prime Minister called him a high-skilled manager and noted: "At present, in particular at the end of this year and within the year 2007 the front line in Georgia goes along the economy. This is the top priority of our policy. Giorgi Arveladze will start to perform his duties under the President's and my request".

The minister-appointed Giorgi Arveladze stated that he is sure that the economy ministry has the staff of the people who will do all their endeavors in order to fulfill the set objectives. He said he waits eagerly to start work for fulfillment of the problems and tasks facing us.
