Zurab Noghaideli Meet Matthew Bryza

On November 17 at the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli received the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Bryza. They discussed energy issues, also the current state in the conflict regions of Georgia and complicated relations between Russia and Georgia.

As Matthew Bryza said, Georgia, from the energy aspect, succeeded in the difficult past winter without any external financial aid. Today the Government of Georgia has got no electricity problem and, on the contrary, provides its export for the first time within the late years.

"As to natural gas, the prime Minister and the government are seeking the alternative ways. Out of my private consultations I know that Turkey and Azerbaijan are ready to help Georgia in eradication of energy problems in winter, - said Bryza.
