Prime Minister Introduces New Ministers

On Saturday, November 11 the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli introduced newly appointed ministers. He introduced to the staff of the economic development minister a new minister Irakli Okruashvili. Zurab Noghaideli thanked the former minister Irakli Chogovadze for the fruitful and successful work and wished him new success on a new position. He said that appointment of Irakli Chogovadze to the post of the chief of the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation is noteworthy because this is the top priority sphere for our country. Zurab Noghaideli also talked about the successful work of Irakli Okruashvili in the defense sphere and noted that his knowledge and skill are now necessary for the Georgian economy. "The knowledge of Irakli Okruashvili, his macro- and micromanagement skill is required for development of the economy. I am sure that the year 2007 will be the year of fundamental progress in this line, - stated the Prime Minister.

From the economic development ministry Zurab Noghaideli made his way to the agriculture ministry where he introduced a new minister Petre Tsiskarishvili. The Prime Minister said that this year vintage in Kakheti had the political significance and thanked Peter Tsiskarishvili and Mikheil Svimonishvili for the successful vintage process. "I would like to welcome Petre Tsiskarishvili in his new role. I am sure that our cooperation during his new terms of office will be favorable for the country and for our people."
