On August 26 the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli visited Kakheti.
He inspected the up-to-date asphalt plant in the village Khashmi of Sagarejo region, operations in progress on the Sagarejo-Udabno road, the regional diagnostic center under construction in Gurjaani and vineyards in the village Akhasheni.
The prime Minister inspected the Manavi and Gurjaani wineries in Kakheti, where he made the following comments in connection with this vintage: "Russia has practically declared to sue the war by those bans which regards the export of Georgian wines to the Russian market. We all understand well that it was a political decision. So we shall provide the adequate response and meet the vintage maximum mobilized."
The Prime Minister inspected Telavi center under upgrading and the rehabilitation operations of the first public school as well as the winery "The Knight of Viniculture" under construction in the village Zemo Khodasheni.
In Telavi Zurab Noghaideli met the heads of local administrations and self-governments.
