On February 28, 2007 was held the Meeting of the Government of Georgia. The agenda included 31 items.
Upon the beginning of the Meeting the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli spoke about his impressions got within his visit to the Tskhinvali Region, namely to Didi Liakhvi Gorge on February 27. He said that this year the Government of Georgia will implement the investment of 20 million GEL there. All villages will be gasified, will be restored the water supply system which was damaged as a result of the earthquake in the early 90-ies. It is very important that water by the restored system will be supplied to the town of Tskhinvali. At present are executed the rehabilitation operations at the education and sport objects ad roads. In the village Tamarasheni the youth center is under construction.
Our heroic countrymen live in the gorge. They are worthy of assistance, noted the Prime Minister of Georgia and ordered to the ministries and other departments to focus their attention on the population of the gorge.
