On February 6, 2007 was held the Meeting of the Government of Georgia. The agenda included 21 items.
Upon the beginning of the Meeting the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli focused the attention of the members of the Government on the fact that as compared with the respective period of the past year in January 2007 the payroll fund in the private sector increased by 48%. He expressed his satisfaction with the fact that in January 2007 in Georgia was noticed a rather high economic activity that usually, in previous years started from April, and thought it as necessary to keep such pace in order to perform the current goal on the excess of 10% by the economic growth rate.
During the same period were established more than 3600 enterprises that means new additional working places, stated the Prime Minister and expressed his opinion that the discussion on the results of this activity will start from the second quarter.
