Prime Minister of Georgia held a briefing Print Version

On 10 April 2010, Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri held a briefing in the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia.

"I'd like to inform you that we have set up a Trilateral Social Partnership Commission. The Commission comprises trade unions, employer associations and the Government of Georgia. The government is represented before the Commission by Mr. Sandro Kvitashvili.

We have approved the Commission Regulation. The core goal of the Commission is to address the problems that may have occurred or may occur in labour relations in Georgia. The Commission must discuses and resolve such problems fairly. This, we believe, will help develop normal labour relations on the one hand, and further improve the investment environment, on the other," the Prime Minister of Georgia said.

The Regulation of the Trilateral Social Partnership Commission was signed by Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia Aleksandre Kvitashvili, Chairman of United Georgian Trade Unions Irakli Petriashvili and President of the Employers Association Elguja Meladze.
