"I want to advise you about the novelty. A new position is created in the PM's Staff - Senior Adviser of the Prime Minister the only function of whom is study and protection of a private sector, and reporting about any questions raised by the private sector to the government, of any problem of the private sector, and furnishing the Prime Minister and the Government with information

Today I've presented certain innovations to the private sector representatives. Any company having undertaken the investment liabilities to the state over the past years and failing to fulfill or being sure that it won't be able to fulfill such liabilities, may refer to the Government till June 1st. The Government may postpone or reduce the liabilities.

As for the presentation, it was based on the data of the 1st quarter, 2010. According to the data Georgia has already caught up with the 1st quarter, 2010 which was the period of economic boom. Accordingly, we have very positive data in all the fields such as tax revenues, customs revenues, bank credits, bank deposits, as well as the real sector development. Activity is very high, and as per the preliminary data the gross domestic product of the 1st quarter has increased by 4%"- declared the Prime Minister after the meeting with businessmen.
