"As you know, we have established a tradition to hold the Government meetings in the regions. This is very important as during these days the Ministers are studying the problems and trying to identify the works to be done in the regions. Today we are in Ozurgeti. Therefore, we'll talk about the problems existing in Guria. One of the main issues to be discussed are the projects having been implemented for recent years, as well as the projects to be implemented and the issues to be solved in the near future till the end of this year.

I'd like to say that this year a large amount of funds are to be spent in the Guria region. In tote, approximately 34 million lari will be spent only on investment projects. A large amount of funds have been allocated for roads reconstruction - more than 19 million lari will be spent in this field. As per water, it is one of the main priorities. This year 8,5 million lari will be spent on water supply projects. One of the examples of such projects is the Naruji water pipeline rehabilitation. This project will cost 1 million 700 thousand lari. Furthermore, 2 million 400 thousand lari will be spent on agricultural program. This is the most successful program we are implementing within the regions and we will carry on such programs in future as well.

400 thousand lari has been allocated for schools and kindergartens. 4 million 200 thousand lari will be spent out of the Municipal Development Foundation."
