Deputy Head of the Administration of the Georgian Government hosts a delegation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic Print Version

A delegation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic is familiarizing itself with Georgia's experience in fighting corruption, practice of following recommendations, and existing legislative framework.

Today, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Georgian Government Revaz Javelidze hosted the delegation led by the Deputy Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan. The meeting was held at the Government Administration.

The meeting discussed Georgia's successful steps toward fighting against corruption and deeper cooperation between the two countries across a variety of areas. Thematic meetings with several agencies are planned under the visit, including with representatives of the Georgian Prosecutor General's Office, State Security Service, Justice Ministry, High Council of Justice, Finance Ministry, State Procurement Agency, and Civil Service Bureau. The delegation-consisting of prosecutors from the Legal and Anti-Corruption Departments of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Kyrgyzstan's Country Coordinator of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Program-will complete its visit on January 20.
