On February 8, 2012 in Zugdidi was held the meeting of the Georgian Government. The agenda included 45 items.
Before the meeting stared, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri, talked about problems caused due to much snow and measures implemented to eradicate them.
"There are problems in vehicle traffic and electricity supply caused due to much snow in Samegrelo Region; the situation has improved during the last days; although, the weather has worsened. I would like to declare maximal mobilization in municipal services, as well as road department to be maximally mobilized as falling of much snow will continue during the next days. We shall continue works and eradicate the existing problems in a short period of time.
I would like to repeat once more for everyone that there will be certain problems, delays in electricity supply and vehicle traffic caused due to much snow. This is so not only in Georgia, but also in the whole Europe and America.
This is important to be mobilized and promptly eradicate the problems the population is facing. This is of greatest importance. We shall continue everyday meetings in order to know where and which problems are to be solved," pointed out the Prime Minister.
