On March 23, 2012 was held the meeting of the Georgian Government. The agenda included 57 items.
Before the Session started Prime Minister of Georgia Mr. Nika Gilauri came up with detailed information about Program of vocational training to the members of the Cabinet.

"Good morning. Before discussion of the issues of the Session, I'd like to provide the society and members of the Cabinet with brief information about our new program, considering voucherization of professional training. As you all know, this program has been started several days ago. At the first stage it considers only socially vulnerable people. They can visit special training centers and take 1000 GEL vouchers, bring them to any professional institution and acquired new profession. I'd like to underline that these centers are yet opened in three cities of Georgia: Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Kobuleti. More will be established in Telavi and Akhaltsikhe. The citizens will be able to visit any of the places and take the Vouchers.
I'd like to tell you that at the moment there are 1000 people registered and 1000 vouchers issued. 4 professions are requested the most, they are: building, agriculture, tourism and information technologies. These are 4 directions, where demands on training exist from population.
Besides, we have involved private sector, as finding job by the people after completion of the course of Training is of much more importance than obtaining professions by m.
Consequently, we have private sector involved and, herewith, post the vacancies existed in it, as well as the requests of private sector, as well as information on what professions are interested by it to provide employment of people.
As we have said, second stage will get started on April 5. Any of our citizens will be able to receive this voucher. For socially vulnerable people this will be 100% funding, for remaining population - 70% funding, 30% shall be paid by themselves. If they do not wish to pay this 30%, they shall pass respective exam. If they do it successfully, they will have 100% funding as well. Exams to be held on April 25 and learning in all these directions begins on May 1. This will be the first flow, and the second one will be able to participate in this Program on the second part of this year."
