Prime Minster Meets with Jindal Petroleum LLC representatives
Today Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with representatives of Jindal Petroleum LLC. This company is part of Jindal Group with steel and coal production as its primary directions and 18 billion dollars' worth of assets. This company owns permits to seek and extract oil and natural gas in five license blocks in the regions of Kakheti, Kartli, Tbilisi suburbs, Guria, and Zemo (Upper) Adjaria.

Prime Minister thanked the guests for visiting and expressed his hope concerning even closer cooperation in the future.

"Your company is one of the biggest players in the field of oil and natural gas in Georgia. I know that your company plans to continue investing in Georgia, and we welcome this commitment. I believe that India and Georgia have a lot in common in terms of traditions related to family, patriotism, and struggle for freedom," pointed out Irakli Garibashvili at the meeting.

This meeting was held at the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia. It was attended by Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
