Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili offered his condolences to the family of Chabua Amirejibi.
Prime Minister and his wife, as well as Minister of Energy and Vice Prime Minister Kakhi Kaladze and Minister of Corrections, Probation and Legal Assistance Sozar Subari, attended Chabua Amirejibi's public viewing at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
"I sympathize with the pain of the family of Chabua Amirejibi and all Georgia, and I would like to express my sincere condolences to them. Chabua Amirejibi was a great classic author, a prominent writer, whose literary works are a pearl of not only Georgian but world literature as well," Irakli Garibashvili commented. According to him, literary images created by Chabua Amirejibi always remain relevant and serve as universal role models.
