Meeting of the Government were held at the Government Chancellery of Georgia on March 28, 2013.There were 24 issues on the agenda. Two issues were added and 26 were approved, 4 of them - with consideration of remarks.
At today's meeting of the government, the 2013 plan of Social Rehabilitation and Children Care Program has been approved. The program has 12 main directions, which includes rehabilitation, as well as special treatment and special care. Total budget of the abovementioned program has been increased by GEL 2 million, amounting to GEL 15.5 million, this year. Recommendations of field experts, public defender and non-government organizations have been considered in the plan of the program.
Today, Georgian government has also made decision about reducing fee of service to be rendered by the State Services Development Agency to prisoners and persons staying at Penitentiary establishments. The decision includes reduction of marriage registration fee beyond territorial service of the Agency, by GEL 50.
