On Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili's decision, 100 tons of humanitarian cargo has been sent to Ukraine.
The humanitarian cargo sent to Ukraine includes first-aid products, more than 30 different kinds of medications, oxygen concentrators, and other humanitarian goods. In addition, Georgia is assisting Ukraine with blood supplies, namely blood components and materials for blood transfusion have been sent. The process of loading and sending the humanitarian aid at Tbilisi International Airport was attended by Head of the Government Administration Ilia Darchiashvili and Zurab Azarashvili, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Health, Labor and Social Affairs.
Georgia's humanitarian aid will be delivered to Ukraine via Lublin, Poland.
The Head of the Government Administration and the Health Minister were accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandre Khvtisiashvili and Deputy Minister Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Health, Labor and Social Affairs Ilia Ghudushauri.
