Cooperation between the two countries and perspectives of strengthening the cooperation were discussed at the extended meeting that the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili held with the Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamian and the government delegation of Armenia. Issues of economic cooperation were stressed, hope was expressed that trade relations between Georgia and Armenia will be strengthened more. The meeting was attended by the members of minister cabinet of Georgia and Armenia. After the meeting the Prime Ministers held a joint briefing. Our countries are connected with good neighborhood and friendship of many centuries that is the strong basis for development and strengthening of cooperation, - the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili stated at the joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamian.

The head of the Georgian Government emphasized active dynamics of mutual visits and noted that Georgia and Armenia in spite of different foreign policy and economic vectors are ready to continue close cooperation in a number of directions.

"We attach a special importance to maintaining current trade regime between the two countries and further strengthening of economic relations", - the Prime Minister of Georgia stated.
The Armenian Prime Minister thanked his Georgian counterpart for hosting. Hovik Abrahamian emphasized friendship relations of the two countries and expressed his hope of strengthening trade-economic and humanitarian-cultural fields.
