We control the situation regarding the rate of GEL, - the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili stated at the Government meeting today.
According to the Prime Minister the ministers of finance and economy have a constant communication with the president of the national bank.
Irakli Garibashvili explained that there is a floating exchange rate in Georgia that is attached to the current events of the region. However, according to the Prime Minister the situation is under control and if necessary the national bank will be involved in its regulation.
