Estonian Prime Minister will visit Tbilisi in January, 2015 - details of this visit were discussed at the meeting of the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Keit Pentus-Rosimannus. The Parties spoke about the bilateral relationship and outlined the prospects of further strengthening political, economic and cultural relationships.

The meeting focused on Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, visa liberalization and the issues related to the Free Trade Agreements. Keit Pentus-Rosimannus congratulated Irakli Garibashvili on the ratification of the Georgia-EU Association Agreement. Special attention was paid to the deepening economic and trade cooperation. Also, it was noted with satisfaction that the Georgian-Estonian film- Mandarinebi (Tangerines), gained international recognition and it is nominated for Oscars by Estonia.

The Head of the Georgian Government thanked the Foreign Minister of Estonia for her visit and regarded it as an expression of support and solidarity. It was noted that Georgia is the first country after Baltic and Scandinavian countries, which is visited by the newly appointed Minister of Estonia within the bilateral visit. Keit Pentus-Rosimannus holds the positions of the Foreign Minister of Estonia from November 17, 2014. She is also the Vice-Chairwoman of the majority of the Estonian Parliament ("Reform Party").
