I pay tribute to the memory of Alexander Grigolashvili and express my condolences to his family! As regards to the statement of the Ministry of Defense, I do not agree with it,- the Prime Minister of Georgia told journalists, commenting the topic.
According to him, the Ministry of Defense should not have made the statement of such political content.
"First of all, I would like to present my condolences on the occasion of Alexander Grigolashvili's decease and offer my sympathy to his family. I pay tribute to his memory. As for the statement made by the Ministry of Defense, I did not like it either. I think the Ministry of Defense should not have made the statement of such political content. I spoke to the Minister of Defense and he is very concerned,"-said the Premier.
In Irakli Garibashvili's opinion, the Ministry of Defense made a mistake.
"The Ministry of Defense should not make such statements, but I would also like to ask you not to dramatize this fact. Everyone makes mistakes, nobody avoids them. However, mistake needs to be recognized and also needs apologies, that, in my opinion, will not be difficult for the Defense Ministry,"- stated Irakli Garibashvili.
