The visit of Prime Minister of Georgia to Azerbaijan

The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili visited the republic of Azerbaijan for two-day official visit on September 11-12.

After the official welcoming ceremony at the airport face-to-face meeting was held between the Prime Minister of Georgia and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. After face-to-face meeting the president of Azerbaijan hosted the members of the delegation of Georgia at the official dinner.

Within the two-day official visit both face-to-face and extended meeting of the Prime Minister of Georgia with his Azeri counterpart Artur Rasizade were held.

Irakli Garibashvili also visited Aliyev centre and and the old quarters of Baku.
On September 12, the Prime Minister familiarized himself with the White City project that includes hotel, residential homes, and recreation areas.

The head of the government with the members of the delegation also visited large international exhibition of defense industry - ADEX-2014.

The members of the delegation of Georgia consisted of the Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze, Vice Premier Kakha Kaladze, Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri, Agriculture Minister Otar Danelia, Advisor of the Prime Minister Savalan Mirzoev, Members of the Parliament Zurab Tkemaladze and Makhir Darzievi, also Deputy Chief of the Government Administration of Georgia Nino Kobakhidze.
