The next government meeting led by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili was held in the Government Administration of Georgia. The members of the minister cabinet discussed 34 issues considered by the agenda. 1 issue was added, 35 issues were approved. According to the decision of the government meeting amendments were made to the Georgian law on general education. According to the amendments there will be a new rule for certification. The old rule will be amended according to which the teachers who do not have certificates are not allowed to teach from 2015. Under the new rule teachers will enter their career step by step, their gradual development, creating relevant motivation and recognition of success - professional growth is related to career growth and increase of the payment. The members of the government cabinet also approved the project of government of Georgia resolution about measures to be made for the purpose of moving to universal healthcare on making amendments to resolution N36 of Government of Georgia of February 21, 2013. In 2009 the term of other state health insurance program started by the former government was expired and the existed contingent became beneficiaries of universal healthcare program. Since currently there is a period of transition old insurance does not cover the costs, and new insurer is not selected yet, in this transition period the state undertakes management of the processes. The costs of the beneficiaries will be covered by social service agency. With the mentioned amendments other insurance program beneficiaries will also join universal healthcare program. The state offers flexible system to the citizens not to create any problems during the transition period. Administering of the program will be improved. The packages will be tailored on the needs of specific target groups.
